I decided to wear something formal to work today. As opposed to the usual free style/casual outfits everyone (including myself) wears at Versteegh. Here’s my formal look (I wore a fuchsia jacket over the t-shirt) ;) -->The project is getting on people’s nerves now. We have planned sessions of one, two or four hours to discuss all the implementation issues in different groups. Some people have to sit through several meetings a day which makes them cranky. Today’s morning felt like a rainy Monday morning. Everyone was complaining or making very sarcastic remarks in my direction. I just ignored all of it with a friendly smile. It got better in the afternoon. Next Thursday will be one more of these days. Hope they’ll be more relaxed after a ‘non project’ day.
One more piece about Café Kiev – AD Utrecht from 14 September 2009. They mixed up the names of the girls! And apparently Wouter finds high heels appealing.

Its good you explain this to me, that wearing a tie for a lady means also a formal type of clothing... I could have mistaken it for a desperate measure :P

ReplyDeleteVersteegh consists mainly of women. The four men working there do not fit in my target group. Tie = formal!

Apparently the men on the train between The Hague and Utrecht are not aware of this meaning of a tie. Nor are the men on the bus to Houten. Or maybe they are afraid of being tied up? No, that would be really stupid! Everyone can see the tie is not real!
